Clean Growth Choices (CGC) are the future-focused choices made by Queensland’s regional communities about how they want to sustain or grow in the context of global pressures, including pressure for cleaner economies that use less energy and less water and produce less waste and fewer emissions.

 

The CGC Initiative is designed to work with community leaders, bringing them the latest techniques so they can work with their communities to think about the future and make their own Clean Growth Choices.

 

Those choices will be trialed and put into long-term ‘transition roadmaps’ that enable  communities to take steps now but adjust as they go based on the pointers and sign-posts they decide should guide them.
