Low rate finance for energy efficient projects. 

Please contact The Efficiency Group if you are a Queensland licensed and listed on the ASIC professional register who offers green loans and wishes to be added to this list. 

For example: 

A $100 million asset finance program through Macquarie Leasing where eligible assets are financed at a 0.7 per cent p.a. discount to the standard asset finance rate.

  • Electric vehicles

  • Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles

  • Range of eligible energy efficient and renewable energy equipment.

The $150 million ANZ Energy Efficient Asset Finance program  where eligible assets are financed at a 0.7 per cent p.a. discount to the standard asset finance rate.

  • Eligible technologies include: 

  • Electric and other low carbon vehicles including farm equipment that meets energy-efficiency thresholds

  • Energy-efficient refrigeration, heating and cooling equipment, variable speed drives, lighting and irrigation equipment

  • Solar (rooftop and ground mounted)

  • Batteries that are charged by renewables or waste-to-energy technologies

  • Process equipment upgrades where new equipment meets an energy-efficiency threshold

 

  • NAB

A $120 million NAB-CEFC finance program provides an incentive for Australian businesses, particularly those in rural and regional Australia, to invest in new plant and equipment to cut their energy and operating costs.

The  $200 million finance commitment from CEFC, provides customers with a 0.7 per cent discount on finance 

Eligible projects include:

  • Rootop and off-grid solar PV

  • Battery storage and solar thermal

  • Energy efficiency equipment

  • Low emissions vehicles

  • Projects that upgrade the energy efficiency of buildings

  • Energy-from-waste projects

  • Projects registered for Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) under the Emissions Reduction Fund.

The $300 million Energy Efficient Equipment Finance program, offered through the Commonwealth Bank, provides Australian businesses and not-for-profits lower cost finance for a wide range of energy efficient assets.

Eligible projects include

  • Cars with low CO₂ tailpipe emissions

  • Trucks, buses and machinery powered by electric, hybrid or regenerative drive/engine

  • Energy efficient lighting

  • Industrial refrigeration units and chillers

  • Solar PV panels

  • Energy efficient electric motors, pumps and fans

  • Compressed air, variable speed drives

  • Cogeneration and trigeneration plants

Fleet vehicle finance for eligible low emissions passenger and light commercial vehicles. 

Innovative online lending platform to finance eligible clean energy assets for both businesses and consumers.  

 

Major commercial auto and equipment lender Metro Finance’s Metro Green initiative is working to increase the uptake of low emissions passenger and light commercial vehicles. It offers a 0.7 per cent discount on the standard rates offered to customers who purchase lower emissions passenger and light commercial vehicles that meet predetermined standards.
