In late 2018 staff at Hobson’s Bay City Council will take part in a three month trial of 3 Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs). The trail is set to help Hobson’s Bay CC reduce their fleet emissions to reach their target of zero CO2 emissions by 2020. Currently refuelling hydrogen cells is the main setback with Hobson’s Bay CC refuelling at Toyota’s former manufacturing site in nearby Altona.
